To Those Before, After, and Somewhere In Between
By Miguel C. Strother

While reading Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E. Lawrence I came across this reminder of the vein in which I believe www.forgetmagazine.com was launched three years ago today:

"The dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dream with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did."

Take notice; We are the dreamers of the day. We are the new Irish, whispered into being by the courage and defiance of those who came before us; Dennis Lee, Margaret Atwood, Milton Acorn, bpNichol, Margaret Lawrence, Bliss Carman, Al Purdy, Lorna Crozier, Irving Layton, and Patrick Lane. We are, and will always be, Forget Magazine. Independent. Canadian.

Killin' it steady for three years with much more to come. 375 articles, 104 Canadian writers, a serious attitude, and the biggest goddamn orange afro north of the 49th. You. Could. Be. Next.

Miguel C. Strother is one lucky bastard.
