1000 Accordions Band
CC: Forget Magazine
from Ernest Ogren

Dear Forget Editors,

I played my accordion at the San Francisco World's Fair on Treasure Island in 1940 along with 1,000 other Accordionists. A picture of the group was taken and I am trying to locate someone with knowledge of the concert to get the exact dates of the fair in order to obtain a copy of the photograph of the band. I have been in contact with the official photographer for the World's Fair in 1940 and he has the negatives in his archives but needs specific dates of the fair in order to find them. I was ten years old at the time and traveled with my mother who is now deceased. She had a copy of the photograph at one time but it cannot be located now.

I would appreciate any information you may have.

Ernest Ogren is serious. We think.
