barely smoked
resting neatly
in yellow stained fingers
one six-toed
deaf white cat
eating from a silver bowl
a clock blinking 12:00
a muted T.V.
a stack of dirty dishes
in my sink
a conscience
mostly ignored
and two sore teeth
